The awkward questions
What does DoorPay charge on the money it holds?
Nothing beyond the plan price. The amount released to the seller is the amount the buyer paid — custody itself is not a cut.
Who pays for the plan?
The seller or business. Buyers never pay a subscription, because the party taking on delivery risk is the one buying the protection.
What happens if a delivery is disputed?
The release is paused, not reversed. The funds stay in the escrow account while the dispute is worked through, so neither side is holding the other’s money.
Can I cancel?
Any time. Orders already in custody are unaffected and will still release normally after delivery.
